Church Activities

Family Service of Worship, including Junior Church  

Held on Sundays at 10.30 a.m. till approx. 11.30 a.m.; led by Church Leader Linda Pain or a guest preacher.

Holy Communion is included in the service held on the first Sunday morning each month.

Occasional Evening Services are held as announced.

Messy Church

Held on the second Saturday of each month, except in August, 4 pm to 6 pm focusing on young families especially those with children under say 12 years of age.  Have fun and a chat over a cuppa with arts & craft and socialising, followed by a brief period of worship and then a meal together.

Little Angels Parent & Toddler Group

Every Tuesday during school term time from 10 am until 11.30 am with play time, healthy snack, arts & craft and music & song sessions.  Subscription £1 per child (under-ones free)

East Cliff Lunch Club

Held on the second and fourth Friday each month.  Mainly for seniors but open to all age groups.  A two course lunch with tea or coffee for £4. Occasional entertainment.  Booking is essential – ‘phone 01202 290046.

East Cliff Pre- School

East Cliff Pre-School is operated on the church premises.  For details, ‘phone the organisers Amanda or Beckie on 07762 424253 or 07762 424252.

Other Activities

The East Cliff Church  social calendar this past year has included two orchestral concerts, a walk and picnic in the New Forest, an Autumn Fair, a Harvest Supper, Bingo and Egg-Rolling down the cliff-top zigzag at Easter.

In addition the Church Women’s Own group have enjoyed trips to the Priest’s House Museum & Garden, Wimborne; the Kingston Lacy snowdrops; the Russell-Cotes Museum; a trip to Swanage and a Christmas lunch at a local hotel.

Regular Neighbourhood Management meetings also take place at East Cliff Church.

Various community groups hold their meetings here including Friends of the Earth, Bournemouth Concert Brass, Karate Club and several self-support groups including Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.  Enquiries to 01202 290046.
